The two-dimensional(2D) barcode is marked with a permanent laser on the top of tubes and is more reliable than the use of adhesive stickers or labeling markers. This 2D barcode has a unique alphanumeric code that remains legible even after repeated usage and exposure to harsh conditions ranging from -80°C (low storage temperature)up to 100°C(thermal cycling temperature).

Moreover, the high contrast co-molded marking area ensures easy scanning by a scanner or automated scanning systems. This feature will allow you to easily track and identify the particular tube in dozens of samples.

2D-Coded Tethered Caps

Another beneficial feature of our 2D-coded product is2D-coded tethered caps. These are specialized caps that are designed to work in conjunction with 2D-coded PCR tubes. When combined with the tubes, these caps allow for two unique markings to be applied to the overall assembly.

The first marking of the 2D code is placed on the tube, while the second marking of the 2D code is placed on the tethered caps.
